If you are looking for a book that grabs your attention & holds it captive until the end then this is your book. It is so good I literally couldn't put it down and ended up reading the entire book in one day! I have found a new favorite author in Heather Lynn Osting & can't wait to read more of her work!!!

I highly recommend this book! The author did an amazing job at giving enough detail to bring the story to life, without overdoing it. I fell in love with the main character, Vivienne, & her headstrong attitude. I can't wait to read more with her in it. This book made me laugh & cry. There's a lot of twists & turns, so I don't want to go into too much detail, but I love Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton, Harlan Coben, & Patricia Cornwell, so if you enjoy any of their books, I really think you'll love this one as well!

The life of Vivienne Taylor is never the same after she's abducted at a biker meet in rural Ohio. The spirited, young woman goes on a journey that will forever scar her and lead her closer to being "dead in a ditch".

From start to finish, the story's main character, Viv, is one the reader can connect with as well as love. It is within this character that Osting has instilled the element of humor not only as a means to establish the reader's personal connection but also to add comic relief to the story when the story's topics become intense. The intricate plot keeps the reader interested as well as on the edge of his/ her seat at times, and Osting's use of both humor and suspense attract the reader's curiosity to the very last page.

This book is a quick read with with comedic quips and thrilling episodes and is one that I would highly recommend to anyone.

You need to read this book! It has this former English teacher's stamp of approval!

I purchased this book at the author's book signing on Saturday morning. Between kids, sports, & housework I still managed to finish the book by Sunday evening -- it's one of those books you pick up every chance you get. The main character, Vivienne Taylor, is the kind of girl everyone wants to hang out with & would be lucky to have for a friend. She's fiesty, tough, adventurous & sweet all mixed into one cool chic. Ms. Osting, please keep the series coming - and be quick about it - your fans are waiting for more! ;)

I started this book on a day that I had to be to work at 1:00. That was a huge mistake! I didn't want to stop reading to get ready, and all I could think about was reading it again on my lunch break. The story moves quickly and keeps you interested the whole way through. The writing was extremely descriptive, it was very easy to visualize every aspect of the story. You will be hooked until the end, and it will leave you excitedly waiting for the next book!

Some people can write well but cannot tell a story well. Heather Osting has the innate ability to tell a story exceedingly well, to the point that one wonders, "How does she do this?" I cannot say enough good things about this book! I began with reading the sneak peek here on Amazon and it was a "must read" after that! I was so captivated by the characters and story line, that I ended up reading it in one day! I highly suggest picking this book up. Aside from the excellent writing and character-building, the fact that this will turn into a series makes it an even better buy. Add this to your collection - you won't be disappointed!

I was in the mood for a book of mystery and humor, well I found it. I really found the character Vivienne to be someone I would relate with. I enjoyed her self dialog and found it real comparable to Janet Evanovich's character Stephanie Plum. The book is well written and very easy to read. It sucks you right in. I will definately be reading future work of Heather and can't wait to see what Vivienne does next!

When I found out this this was written by someone from my hometown, I just HAD to read it. Even though I haven't lived in Delphos OH for 10 years, it was great to see local things in print...in a novel!

It was a great story, definitely a page turner & I only put my Kindle down to eat.

Heather has a great way with the written language...and I can't wait to read her next adventure.

This book had me hooked from page one. It took me a couple of days to read but only because of holiday commitments I couldn't dodge. I could easily have gotten through it in one sitting if time had allowed. A good story with good twists and turns that never failed to keep me fully intrigued! I recommend this book to anyone looking for a good thriller.
